Band, Choir & Orchestra

What is Band? 
The SPMS Band is a performance ensemble group made up of students who play variety of wood, wind, and percussion instruments. 

When do students practice?
Enrolled students will have a dedicated Band class on their daily schedule. 

Do students perform?
The Band perform once each quarter throughout the school year. 

How do I join Band?
Students interested in joining middle school Band are encouraged to participate in their Elementary Band Program in 4th and 5th grades. 

How much does it cost?
There is no cost to join Band.

What is Choir? 
The SPMS Choir is a singing ensemble.

When do students practice?
Enrolled students who are in good academic standing will have a class dedicated to Choir on their daily schedule.

Do students perform?
The Choir performs once each quarter throughout the school year. 

How do I join Band/Orchestra?
Students interested in joining Choir can choose the class as an elective, or come to the Choir Club after school on Thursdays. 

How much does it cost?
There is no cost to join Choir.
